Our Guide Edition Hulls are commercially rated and are not equipped with flotation. This allows for more dry storage and makes the Guide Edition the lightest and cheapest of the models.
Guide Edition Features
You are able to keep the area under the front deck as storage when you get the guide edition. You can access the storage as it comes standard with an oval cut out shown above left, or you can upgrade to the top access storage hatch shown below.
The Guide Edition also allows for more room in the rear of the boat. You can put more storage boxes or just leave the open space for hunting and fishing.

Flotation Edition Hulls are the official boat for Mud Buddy Backwater Motors. They are basically the Guide Edition hull with flotation. The foam is under the front deck, under the floors, and in the two rear boxes seen in the picture to the left.

You also have another option for rear foam placement. You can use our newest design, the Huntdeck. The Huntdeck, (shown above right), places all the foam on the outside of the transom and allows you the same freedom in placing storage boxes or open floor space as the Guide Edition does!

Tapered Chine Hull Models |

Gator Trax also offers a tapered chine hull. This hull has been in production here for years and still offers most of the same features of our standard round chine hulls. We started building this hull for other companies and, until now, has been offered from our factory at a limited quantity. However, they are now offered from our factory as well as our dealers as another line of Gator Trax hulls.

Our duck skiffs are the answer to a lot of duck hunter's and fishermen's prayers. It allows them to use a smaller boat and motor without compromising strength and durability. We make our duck skiffs all one solid piece, just like our traditional Gator Trax hulls. We also use .125 5086 aluminum so that tearing this boat up is hard to do! You can order these hulls with or without flotation and the Huntdeck is also available on the Duck Skiff as well.

Gator's Camp |

The Gator's Camp, or the "Scamp" as we call it, was designed to perform like a boat, not a barge. It has a tapered front end like a boat, not a squared off front end like a barge. It has a true rake in the front like a boat, not a squared nose like a barge. It also is built to handle up to a 60HP outboard, if that's what you need! It is the largest and roomiest of the floating blinds on the market and its' design ensures top performance.

The Super Sport is one of the fastest hulls we build. We kept the hull mainly open with minimal accessories, shorter sides, lighter floor material, and built it with a longer and sleeker rake for high speed running. This hull combined with one of the Mud Buddy 35, 45, or new 6000 motors is unreal in performance!
